Welcome to our new, revised website!
It's been a long time coming, and we needed it! If I had to come up with an excuse for why it's taken so long, I'd have to say it was life, work, family! I have two young children and they tend to take priority, but they're getting a little older, and I have more help so I can dedicate a lot more time now to upgrading this site as well as our programs.
For those of you with Internet Explorer 6, I know there are some issues with viewing our pages, that is because IE6 is no longer supported by Microsoft, you'll have to update your browser in order to see it properly.
But now that the website upgrade is complete, we have to move on to updating our products. I will have to do some research first on what type of upgrades our customers want. Scheduling Employees 2000 is our most popular program, so I'm going to start with that one first.
Here are some suggestions I've had so far:
- More flexibility with the reports function (plus the availabilty to select default settings on the print menu)
- For those Sodexo folks who need KRI's, or in other words need to view transactions per labor hour in 15 minute increments, after the fact
- An ability to email individual schedules through Outlook or some other email application
- For those using SEW 2000 in Australia, variable pay rates for weekends and holidays
- An improved way to document requested time off, or partial days off.
If you have other suggestions, please let me know! I'll be gathering suggestions over the next month, and I want to be started on the changes by mid-summer. You may post as a comment to this blog, or email me directly through our website http://www.workschedules.com/contact.html, or our direct email guia@workschedules.com.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
