A very common question, with a very simple answer.
A Single Registration allows you to install one copy of the program on one computer. A Site License allows you to install the program on multiple computers AT ONE SITE- multiple computers under one roof, usually connected by a network.
That means if you have more than one location (restaurant, store, etc.), you will have to purchase a single registration for each location.
But wait! There is an exception to this rule: If you schedule at work, but would also like to schedule at home on a laptop or home computer, you may do so under a Single Registration. How do you do this? Just create a backup of your database at work onto a USB Flash Drive, and restore the database onto your laptop or home computer, or vice versa.
If you have any questions about program licensing, please reply to this post, we welcome your comments!
I've been using SEW for years and it's great. I keep my database at work and bring it home to use on my laptop. But sometimes I forget, and then I have to do the roster twice, once at home and then at work to bring them back into synch. It would be great if it were possible to merge the databases, or copy a week from one and paste/import it into the other. In the long term for me it won't be an issue when I will be able to access the work database via the internet. But for now that is in the future, so it would be nice to be able to merge data now...

Do any of your customers look for employee scheduling optimization and not just software. We have over 25 years experience with clients like Kraft Foods. Maybe we can partner and make it a higher value proposition as a team?
